Help us advance brain cancer treatment in bc
The Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, Professional Cyclist Christian Meier, and the Wedgewood Cycling Team, collectively known as Team AutoLITT, are pleased to partner with the BC Cancer Foundation to raise funds for advanced AutoLITT technology for brain cancer treatment.
For every dollar raised by Team AutoLITT the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa will donate a matching amount until the required $350,000 for the AutoLITT technology is achieved. Your support of our efforts for the BC Cancer Foundation will enable the purchase of this cutting edge technology the first of its kind in Canada Dr. Brian Toyota, neuro-surgeon at the BC Cancer Agency is trained on this new technology and believes it will offer hope to many brain cancer patients and their families. As the first site in Canada to obtain and treat patients with AutoLITT, Dr. Toyota envisions the development of a teaching hub in Vancouver with the BC Cancer Agency and Vancouver General Hospital leading the way. |
